Ingredients:
- 20 Mushrooms
- 1 medium sized Onion
- 1 cup grated Coconut
- 5-6 Red Chilies
- Pinch of Turmeric Powder
- Small Piece of Tamarind
- 1 tbsp Coriander seeds
- Water
- 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
- Salt according to your taste
Method:
- Wash and chop Mushrooms.
- Put the grated Coconut in the Mixer/Grinder.
- Add Red Chilies, Turmeric, Tamarind, Coriander seeds and water.
- Grind it till it becomes smooth masala.
- Saute chopped Onion till it becomes golden brown.
- Add Garam masala powder and fry it for 2 minutes.
- Add the Mushrooms and cook them in the cooker (1 whistle).
- Once the Mushrooms are cooked, pour the ground masala. Allow it to boil.
- Add Salt.
- Tasty Mushroom Curry (Konkani: Alambe Ambut) is ready.
