Ingredients:
- 3 Big Pomfret
- 1 medium sized Onion
- 1 cup grated Coconut
- 5-6 Red Chilies
- Pinch of Turmeric Powder
- Small Piece of Tamarind
- 1 tbsp Coriander seeds
- Water
- Salt according to your taste
Method:
- Clean and wash pieces of Pomfret thoroughly.
- Put the grated Coconut in the Mixer/Grinder.
- Add Red Chilies, Turmeric, Tamarind, Coriander seeds and water.
- Grind it till it becomes smooth masala.
- Saute chopped Onion till it becomes golden brown.
- Pour the ground masala. Allow the masala to boil.
- Put the cleaned Pomfret pieces.
- Add Salt.
- Allow it to boil on the low flame for 5 minutes.
- Tasty Pomfret Curry (Konkani: Papletache Ambut) is ready!
