Ingredients:
- 1 cup Watermelon (the pinkish white part of watermelon grated)
- 1 cup Dosa Rice
- 1 tbsp Methi Seeds
- 3/4th cup thick Poha (soaked for 2 mins)
- Jagger to taste
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Wash and soak Dosa Rice and Methi Seeds with grated Watermelon for 4-5 hours.
- Now Grind together the above with thick Poha, Jaggery and Salt to get a smooth dosa batter.
- Keep the batter overnight for fermentation.
- Morning mix it all well and make dosas in a non stick pan.
- Sweet Watermelon Dosa (Konkani: Kalingana Polo) is ready. Serve it with Butter and Chutney/ Chutney Powder.

OMG… I could never imagine a dosa could have watermelon in it!!! I make dosas at home, will definitely give this a shot!

*mouth waters* I have never tried Dosa before, but this makes me want to hunt down the ingredients! Perfect for when I cube a whole watermelon as I never use those mild edges. Do you think it would work if you froze the watermelon to use with the rice later?

Yeah kids would love it! You can use sugar but jaggery is healthy option.
