Ingredients:
- 1 cup Clam (cooked/removed from its shell)
- 2 Onion
- 1 Potato
- 1 cup grated Coconut
- 4-6 Red Chilies
- Pinch of Turmeric Powder
- Small Piece of Tamarind
- 1 tbsp Coriander seeds
- 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
- Water
- Salt according to your taste
Method:
- Cook chopped Potatoes.
- Put the grated Coconut in the Mixer/Grinder.
- Add Red Chilies, Turmeric, Tamarind, Coriander seeds and water.
- Grind it. The masala should be little coarse.
- Saute chopped Onion in a kadai till it becomes golden brown.
- Add little Garam masala and saute for a minute.
- Add cooked Clam and Potatoes and then pour the ground masala.
- Add Salt.
- Allow it to boil on the medium flame for 5 minutes.
- Yummy Clam Side-Dish (Konkani: Tisre Sukke) is ready!
