Semolina Ladoo (Konkani: Rava Laado)

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup Rava (Semolina)
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 4 tbsp Ghee
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • Raisins and Cashews

Method:

  1. Pour 2 tbsp Ghee in a Kadai. Add Rava.

  2. Saute Rava till you get a nice aroma. Transfer it in a plate.
  3. Make Sugar syrup in the Kadai using Sugar and Water. (Quantity is mentioned in the Ingredients section).

  4. Turn off the gas. Now add Rava into the Sugar syrup. Add Raisins, Cashews, and Cardamom Powder. Mix it well.

  5. Add 2 tbsp Ghee to the mixture and allow it to cool for 5 minutes. Make Ladoos using this mixture.

  6. Yummy Rava Ladoos (Konkani: Rava laados) are ready!
    Tip: If the mixture becomes too dry and you are unable to make ladoos then add little milk to the mixture and make Ladoos.
